Believe it or not, it has been a whole year since the idea of starting a Fediverse home for the Zcash community first came up.
When I first proposed it on the forum and on Free2Z, I was hoping that maybe after a few months we would gather enough people to stand the server up. To my happy surprise, we hit our target fundraising in a few days and the server went live on November 6th, 2022.
In the past year, I think Zeal Center has shown that the Zcash community can come together to setup and maintain services for us and I hope this helps in the push for decentralization of the community’s digital presence.
