Other than a short outage at the end of April, things have been quiet for the instance. The successful fundraiser has covered our server costs all the way through 2024-01-07, so thank you all.
On more general news, the Fediverse is experiencing the first wave of spammers that already plague Twitter, Discord and Telegram. Unfortunately, they are using crypto-related messages that reinforce negative perceptions of the blockchain community.
How can you help? Keep being a good neighbor in our little corner of the Fediverse so we can continue to show people that the Zcash community is nothing like that perception. Also, please make sure you report any of these spam accounts so they can be suspended.
